How we chose patio furniture sets with fire pits
We compared the seating layouts, frame materials, cushion details, fire table size and burner output described for each set. Our score weighs specs, features and buyer feedback against what you're shopping for.
A larger piece count doesn't always mean a better fit. Check whether the set's named pieces fit the way you plan to gather, and whether the fire table sits in the right spot for conversation and serving.
If chair storage matters, compare patio table sets with stackable chairs.
Compare patio furniture and fire pit sets

How to choose a patio set with a fire pit
A good set fits your patio footprint, seating needs and fuel routine. Measure the space first, then check the dimensions and arrangement of the complete group rather than estimating from the sofa alone.
What fire table size and output should you compare?
Compare the table diameter or width with the distance between seats and the amount of surface you need for serving. The options here include 44 in and 45 in tables, while stated burner outputs range from 50,000 to 60,000 BTU.
A higher BTU figure describes the burner’s stated heat output, but it doesn't tell you how warm every seat will feel. Wind, patio exposure and the table’s placement can affect comfort, so leave enough room to move around it.
Which frame material fits your patio?
Aluminum options include Aoxun, Kurapika and LayinSun. Wicker groups here use different frames underneath, including steel or metal, so compare the full construction rather than choosing from the woven appearance alone.
Think about the look you want and how you plan to care for the set. For more comparisons focused on the fire feature itself, see our best fire pit table guide.
What should you check about propane?
Check whether the tank is included, the tank size or weight limit, and where it sits during use. The Rattaner sets require a separately purchased 20 lb tank, and Aoxun says its 10-piece set needs a tank and propane weighing less than 20 lb.
Read and follow the fire table’s instructions for setup, clearances and operation. Keep the burner and surrounding space clear as directed, and store the tank only as its instructions allow.
Which patio furniture set with a fire pit should you choose?
Choose the Rattaner 7-piece group if you want a coordinated wicker seating layout, a 45 in fire table and included covers. Pick Aoxun’s aluminum set for wide seats and thick cushions, or the 10-piece Aoxun if swiveling, rocking chairs are the deciding feature.
If flexible modular seating matters most, consider UDPATIO. Compare the tank requirements, dimensions and piece arrangement before choosing a patio furniture set with fire pit that fits how you'll use the space.

Frequently asked questions
What should you check before buying a patio set with a fire pit?
Measure the full seating layout, table and safe clearance around the fire feature. Check the fuel type, burner output, tank requirements and whether the tank is included.
Also confirm which pieces come in the set, how many boxes it ships in and whether covers fit the furniture and fire table.
Are propane tanks included with patio furniture fire pit sets?
Not always. The Rattaner sets require a separately purchased 20 lb propane tank, while Aoxun says its tank is not provided and gives a tank weight limit.
Check the exact tank requirements for your chosen set and follow the fire table's instructions for placement and use.
Is aluminum or wicker better for a patio furniture set with a fire pit?
Aluminum suits buyers who want a metal frame and often a more modern look, as with the Aoxun and LayinSun groups. Wicker sets offer a woven look and may include modular seating or covers.
Compare frame material, cushion fabric, care needs and the layout that fits your patio.
Can you use the fire pit table as a regular patio table?
Some sets include a lid or cover that closes over the fire area. The Rattaner table has a closing fire lid and a tile-effect top, while Kurapika includes a metal cover.
Check how the cover fits and follow the instructions before placing items on the table.
